2025 Business Trick or Treat / Scarecrow Contest / Costume Contest It’s that time of year to start planning for the Winsted Area Chamber of Commerce’s 11th Annual Business Trick or Treat scheduled for October 24th from 4pm to 6pm. This is a fun event to see all the little kids (and some adults) dressed up with approximately 600 kids that came through town last year! It is so wonderful to see that it keeps growing every year. If your business is not in town, and you would still like to participate, just let us know!! Many businesses are very happy to accommodate so you can join in the fun. Also, once again this year, we are organizing a Scarecrow Contest with a chance to win $50 in Winsted Bucks for Popular Vote & $50 in Winsted Bucks in the selected judges vote! For those that would like to participate in the contest, please have your scarecrow ready by October 10th, so there is enough time for voting. Once your scarecrow is ready, please take a picture of it and send it to info@winstedchamber.com so it can be added the Chamber website. BUSINESS COSTUME CONTEST!! What a fun addition last year! If you are willing, let’s do it again! Just dress up & we will be around the day taking your picture & getting you the QR code again so people can vote. No need to register, if you are in costume, your are in! If you would like to participate in the Business Trick or Treat &/or the Scarecrow &/or Costume Contest, please sign up at winstedchamber.com, and let us know which one you would like to participate in or if you would like to do all three!
