It’s that time of year to start planning for the Winsted Area Chamber of Commerce’s 10^th Annual Business Trick or Treat!  The event is scheduled the Friday before Halloween and this year that falls on Friday, October 25^th from 4p.m. to 6p.m.   This event brings 600 kids through town all dressed up (along with some adults)! It is so wonderful to see that it keeps growing every year.  If your business is not in town, and you would still like to participate, just let us know!!  Many businesses are very happy to accommodate so you can join in the fun. 

Once again, this year, we are organizing a Scarecrow Contest with a chance to win $50 in Winsted Bucks for Popular Vote & $50 in Winsted Bucks in the selected judges vote!  For those that would like to participate in the contest, please have your scarecrow ready by October 11^th, in order to be listed in the contest.  Once your scarecrow is ready, please take a picture of it and send it to info@winstedchamber.com so it can be added the Chamber website.

NEW THIS YEAR FOR THE 10^TH ANNUAL…We will organize BUSINESS COSTUME CONTEST!!  There are a few businesses that dress up already, so let’s make this a fun contest as well.  More details on this to come, but if you would like to participate, please sign up for that as well.
